Preparation of RedSea Calcium Pro reagent
1-Use a Redsea transparent vial
2-Fill the vial to the neck with reagent C solution (≈ 20 ml)
3-Add 5 spoons of the powder reagent B
4-Close the vial by it’s cap and shake the solution very well until you obtain a clear solution
5-Uncap the vial and add another 5 spoons of the powder reagent B
6-Close the vial and shake the solution very well until you observe that all solid particles have been dissolved.
7- Empty the prepared solution in an amber vial supplied by the ReefBot.
N.B:
-The shelf life of the prepared reagent is two weeks. After this period, you might face inaccurate results
-If you observed the appearance of crystals or accumulated powder at the bottom of the vial, you can place it in a warm bath (30-40°C) for 10 minutes. This step will help in dissolving all particles.
