Proper Setup for ReefBot

To ensure optimal performance and accurate results, please follow the setup guidelines below:

  1. Height Difference:

    • The height difference between the ReefBot and the water surface level (from where the device will suck water for testing) should not exceed 70 cm (28 inches).

  2. Recalibration after Adjustments:

    • If you adjust the position of the device, recalibrate the pumps. The delivery amount of fluids may vary based on the height of suction.

  3. Vertical Hose Placement:

    • Ensure that the hoses running from the tank or RO containers are positioned as vertically as possible. Minimize any horizontal length to avoid fluid flow inconsistencies.

  4. Short Hose Length:

    • It is strongly recommended to use hoses with the shortest length possible to reduce potential issues with fluid movement and suction.

  5. Water Movement & Air Bubbles:

    • Ensure the water is moving upwards in the hose from the tank or RO water.

    • Double-check that there are no air bubbles anywhere in the hose, as this can interfere with the fluid flow and measurements.

  6. Filter Maintenance:

    • Regularly inspect the filter for debris or signs of clogging.

    • If the filter contains a high amount of debris or appears partially clogged, please replace it with a new filter to maintain optimal performance.

Following these setup guidelines will help ensure that the ReefBot functions at its best, providing you with accurate and reliable test results.
